Hi! I found out about the Butte de Vauquois while looking on this site: www.chtimiste.com . The hill was fought over several times during 1915, and there was extensive mining and counter-mining under the hill. I was wondering if this would possibly make a good Grande Guerre campaign game or scenario. It would involve a large, multi-level ridge with the ruins of a tiny village at the western summit. It would also be mostly involving Infantry and Guns (OBA). Unfortunately, I can't find any maps of the Vauquois battlefield on the Internet so far. Can anybody help on this? Thanks!
