Des nouvelles, je ne crois pas les avoir vues ailleurs:
upcoming "29 Let's Go!" Action Pack, our 11th. This pack covers battles of the American 29th Infantry Division from D-Day through October, 1944. We expect that it will have 10 scenarios, two new 8" x 22" maps, and a sheet of overlays. Look for this Action Pack to go on pre-order sometime this summer.
Layout for the Yanks reprint is continuing, with most of the scenarios and many of the counters (and, by extension, Chapter H) well underway. As was the case with Rising Sun, very little of the original art still exists form the Avalon Hill days; so many of the counters and scenarios are, by necessity, being re-built from the ground up. We have asked Ken Smith too provide cover art for the Yanks reprint. This is still looking good for an appearance on pre-order later this year.
Chas is up to his eyeballs in the Korean War ASL module. We ran two "playtest mini-tournaments" at Winter Offensive using six of the module's scenarios, to more broadly explore its rules and mechanics. Some of the more exotic aspects of the module are, of course, specific to nationality; for example, the Communist Chinese use an Infantry variation of platoon movement, have Political Officers, and step-reduce in a fashion similar to the Japanese; United Nations forces may conduct Bayonet Charges; and early-war ROK (Republic of Korea) may create their own type of suicide hero called "Human Bullets". Look for this module to be on pre-order by the end of 2015.
Bon week end,
X
