Brian and Curt debuted a new video podcast today, titled "We're not dead yet! - two old guys talking about ASL, MMP, and stuff"
You can find it in the Advanced Squad Leader page here -
https://www.facebook.com/groups/advancedsquadleaderOur plan is to start up an MMP YouTube page, and the podcast will live there when that's done.
If you just want to know if any new product info was discussed, here's what I heard:
- Marco Polo Bridge should be released late in the year. Games with counters take longer to produce right now, and it has counters, which is why it won't be released earlier;
- Drop Zone: Chef du Pont was released at WBC, and is now shipping to preorders. There are still about 300 copies to ship before retailer orders can start. CdP is being released bagged, rather than boxed, which makes it far cheaper to send to international customers;
- ASL Journal 16, and a new ASLOK Action Pack will be ready by ASLOK in October. Journal 16 will have the five ASL World Championship scenarios, and a Carpiquet HASL with five scenarios, and two new geo map boards, including an airfield map;
- ‘Kharkov in Flames’ [might not be the final title] HASL should be available at WO 2026;
- the ASL World Championships will move to Winter Offensive in 2027. WO is planned to be the weekend before the Super Bowl;
- there's another Action Pack, designed by Gary Fortenberry, that should be out before end of October. 4 maps by Charlie Kibler.
