"A Bridge Too Far 2011" Arnhem ASL Tournament
The 9th edition of the Advanced Squad Leader Event in Arnhem, Holland, will take place from Thursday, 22th September until Sunday, September 25th. The tournament is held at the Stayokay Hostel, Diepenbrocklaan 27, Arnhem, Holland.
The Bridge Too Far ASL Tournament will have 6 Rounds of gaming for an expected 30-36 participants. On Thursday and Friday, all players will take part in the Main Tournament. On Saturday and Sunday, half the crowd will continue in the Main Tournament, while the others will compete in a variety of Mini-Tournaments.
Our main objective is to bring together a truly international group of ASL players for four days of gaming. We will select exciting and balanced scenarios, and try to avoid tournament classics most people have played before. The full Scenario List will be announced in on May 1st 2011.

In addition, we will also repeat the same Special Competitions for all Players, which were a success in previous years: the Zaitsev Award and the Tank Buster Trophy.
We have pre-booked 30 beds at the Hostel, which will be offered on a first-come first-serve basis. If you wish to organise your accommodation at the tournament venue through the Tournament Organisers, you MUST register and pay in full before 1st of August, 2011. Even though the economy is hard for some of us we do have to increase the price of accomodation in 2011 with only € 5 (the first increase in 4 years). After the 1st of August 2011, we will take no further direct responsibility for organising any accommodation at StayOkay. You are free to make your own direct arrangements with them (if rooms are still available) or we can advise you on alternative accommodation nearby.
All competitive results from the Arnhem ASL Tournament are submitted to the European Area Ranking, which is also used as the basis (together with nationality) for the pairing of players in the first three rounds of the tournament.
